It is important to Toyota that every opportunity is received, routed, reviewed, evaluated and replied to. This sponsorship marketing application website is for submitting proposals that fall within the following categories ONLY:

  • General Market Sponsorship

  • Media 

  • Individual Talent, or Spokesperson

 

General Market Sponsorship:

SPONSORSHIP

OBJECTIVE

Toyota is particularly interested in opportunities that allow us to connect with new and existing customers and communities at their passion points, align with our brand, and support our national sponsorship strategy.

AREAS OF FOCUS

  • Sports, Entertainment, Cultural and Lifestyle Organizations

  • Events, Tours and Series of Events

  • Team, League, Conference, Tournament, Convention, and Cultural Celebration

  • Entitlement, Naming Rights and Venue Partnerships

TIMING

Your organization can expect a response between 4 - 8 weeks.

PROPOSAL GUIDELINES

If your sponsorship opportunity includes media and in-person events, please complete the General Market Sponsorship. If your sponsorship opportunity only includes Media, please complete the Media proposal form. Individual talent should use the Individual / Personnel / Spokesperson form.

 

Media:

MEDIA

OBJECTIVE

Toyota is interested in opportunities to partner with mass media brands that can showcase the Toyota Brand and Products in new and unique ways through media.

PROPOSAL GUIDELINES

This form is for media proposals and partnerships. Please be sure to make clear if your proposal is national in scale or regional/local. Individual content creators should use the Individual / Personnel / Spokesperson form.

 

Individual Talent / Spokesperson:

 

OBJECTIVE

Toyota aims partners with resonant talent, leveraging their unique voices, influence, and communities to cultivate cultural relevance and authentically connect with diverse audiences. These partnerships foster meaningful engagement and showcase Toyota as more than a vehicle manufacturer - dedicated to enriching lives and championing forward-thinking solutions.

AREAS OF FOCUS

  • Athletes (professional, national team members, collegiate)

  • Motorsports

  • Action sports athletes/drivers

  • Influencers/Content Creators/Brand Ambassadors

  • Actors/Actresses/Comedians/Models/etc.

  • Artists

  • Radio, Talk show or Podcast Hosts

TIMING

Your organization can expect a response between 4 - 8 weeks.

PROPOSAL GUIDELINES

Please be prepared to share past examples of partnership work and ability to provide references.

PROPOSAL REMINDERS:

1. Our questionnaires are comprehensive and will ask for pertinent information, including, but not limited to:

  • Assets and benefits proposed to be included in contract
  • Up to date demographic information about attendees, viewers, and communities of partner organization's fanbase
  • Physical scale of events
  • Reach of marketing channels (i.e. following, engagement rates, etc.)
  • Media valuation
  • Proposed contractual pricing

2. Please ensure you have all pertinent information on hand when beginning the entry process. The proposal submission form MUST be completed and submitted in ONE SITTING. It CANNOT be saved and returned to be completed later. If you exit the form without submitting, you will have to restart the information entry process.

3. All questions must be answered, and all information submitted will be treated as confidential. All details shared regarding partnership assets are non-binding until contracts have been negotiated and signed by all parties. 

4. Proposals received with less than six (6) months lead time of need of support or initiation of the partnership cannot be considered. If your proposal requires initiation in less than 6 months, please consider submitting the proposal for the following year. 

5. Any additional materials (power point decks, reports, brochures, examples of past work. etc.) can be uploaded and shared at the end of the submission form. The following file types are accepted at a maximum file size of (10MB): Power point, Word, PDF.

NON-BRAND COMPLIANCE:
Toyota does not accept proposals within the following categories:

  • Programming that promotes prejudicial narratives - i.e. racism, sexism, immigration, etc.
  • Gambling content - i.e., including sports and live betting sites, and betting adjacent content
  • Organizations that are political or religious based
  • Culturally insensitive, or controversial in nature
  • Fighting or combat sports 

LEGAL NOTE:
Do not use this site to submit any type of idea or proposal other than those specifically listed above.  Do not submit any confidential ideas. Any submissions relating to advertising creative/commercials, products, or other types of collaborations will not be reviewed.
